On Monday, March 8th, 2021, beginning at 7:00 pm, we will be performing several electrical tests on the power systems for 8182 Maryland Ave. and 8235 Forsyth Blvd. These tests are expected to take approximately 6 hours. During this time, the power supply to both buildings will be impacted for various lengths of time. We apologize for this inconvenience, but these tests are needed to ensure that all electrical systems are working properly.
It is recommended by our consultants that tenants should power down all computer equipment prior to 7:00 pm on March 8th. The tests will be completed, and power restored no later than 1:00 AM on March 9th. Since the power in the buildings will be impacted, this means that most of our building systems (HVAC) will be inoperable. To ensure everyone’s safety and security, both buildings will be closed during the tests (if you need to access your suite during this time, let us know).
Additional actions that will be taken:
- The building’s HVAC contractor, Albert Arno, will be on-site to assist in shutting down and re-starting all HVAC systems in tenant server rooms.
- Janitorial services will be limited to collecting trash and cleaning high-touch surfaces for that evening only. Please place a work order the following day if you have any janitorial items that require attention.
- Management will notify internet providers of shut down.
- Parking gates will remain open and parking cards will be reset to neutral so your first swipe will work from either direction the following day.
We are going to utilize One Call Now to notify individuals via a phone call once power has been fully restored. Please complete the attached spreadsheet for individuals that need to be notified. It will be around 1:00 AM when this call is made.
Please contact us immediately if you have any concerns. Again, our goal is to ensure that all systems in both buildings are working effectively and efficiently.
Thank you for your flexibility and patience.
